The fossil fuel industry raked in more than $11 billion in profits this past quarter.¹ Yet instead of asking the wealthiest corporations in Canada to pay their fair share, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland just told hard-working families to tighten their belts.

So here's our plan to remind Freeland that she works for us — not Big Oil. We’re going to print thousands of posters calling for a windfall tax, and then plaster them all around her riding so it's impossible for her to ignore. We’ll set up the posters so passersby can send a message to Minister Freeland themselves, creating even more noise.

For every $11 million the fossil fuel industry earned this quarter, we'll print one poster — but we’ll need $4,120 to cover our printing and production costs.
