New look, new platforms — same Leadnow!
Tech Update 2024
Over the next few weeks, Leadnow is going to start to look a little different. As we transition to new tech platforms, the emails you receive, the actions you take, and the donations you make, will have a different look. Most importantly, we are hopeful that it will make our impact even bigger.
While it may look simple, Leadnow’s digital infrastructure is the engine that fuels every petition we launch, every phone bank we host, and every day of action we run. Leadnow was founded as the first digital advocacy tools were coming online — and we were among the earliest adopters of the digital campaigning model. In the years since, the technology that supports digital campaigns has continued to grow and evolve — and we are so excited to be growing along with you.
New Action Platform
With our new action platform, the possibilities are endless. We will be able to better and more reliably execute our bread and butter tactics — like blasting our MPs with email campaigns, running phone banks that mount pressure in key moments, and spreading hard-hitting ads. But we will also have new tools in our toolbox — like creating multi-step campaigns, that make it easy for you to stay engaged on issues you care about, or using mobile messaging for people who prefer to stay connected through their phones. It will also become a lot easier for us to partner with ally organizations, and run powerful campaigns together.
New Website
Our website refresh has been in the works for years. A new website will make it easier for our supporters to get to know Leadnow — who we are, what we do and why we do it. Our website refresh will also make it easier for our supporters to find new campaigns and take action on them. Whether you are here to fight for climate justice, for people’s right to housing, or to start your own campaign — you’ll be able to do it from our new website! Think of it as a hub where supporters can come to take action for a more just and climate-safe world, in countless different ways.
New Payment Processing System
Our new platform and merchant processor will improve our donation management and provide a seamless giving experience. The new Donor Portal will provide you with a user-friendly interface to manage your recurring donation plan, including the ability to:
1. Adjust the donation amount and date
2. Edit your payment method
3. Pause your donation plan
4. Download receipts
5. View your donation history and more
