We’ve got an opportunity to make sure that communities along the Highway of Tears don’t lose safe, long distance transportation - but we need to act quickly.

Greyhound has submitted an application to the Passenger Transportation Branch of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to scrap services along the Highway of Tears. The Ministry is accepting public input on the application until October 13th.

The Passenger Transportation Board could reject Greyhound's application and force them to continue their service, but only if we can show there's public demand for the bus route. We need to make sure that the Passenger Transportation Board hears loud and clear that cancelling the Greyhound service will put lives at risk.

If enough of us send messages, we can convince them to reject Greyhound’s application to cancel services along Highway 16, and make sure that communities along the highway continue to have access to the safe long-distance transportation that they need.
