Demand that the BC government protect ancient forests
It’s been over a year since the B.C. government committed to implementing all 14 recommendations of its Old-Growth Strategic Review report — yet not one has been implemented.[1] In the meantime, more old-growth is lost every day. [2] We've heard from sources close to the BC government that an announcement on forest reform is coming this week. This is our moment to help make sure old-growth forests are protected — before they are gone forever.
People in BC are pressuring their MLAs right now. If we can make this a national issue by flooding BC leaders’ inboxes, they’ll know the whole country is watching—and help convince them to halt the logging of old-growth immediately.
