Thanks for chipping in to run ads for a corporate profiteering tax in Budget 2024
The federal budget is being drafted right now.
We can address the cost-of-living and climate crises AND answer the revenue question by passing a corporate profiteering tax. Taxing corporations - like grocery giants and fossil fuel companies - who have significantly increased their profits - would discourage reckless profiteering. It would also generate up to $11 billion dollars for the public coffers.
We have a plan: imagine you’re a Liberal party insider, or Chrystia Freeland herself, logging on for the morning’s news, only to be faced with ads on the CBC showing public support for a corporate profiteering tax.
Together, we can put the pressure on the government to hold corporations accountable. Can you donate to show the government that it’s time for corporations to pay their fair share?
