Call your MP: Sanction Israel

On Sept 16th, 2025, Israel’s Defence Minister declared: “Gaza is burning.”

The level of violence is inhumane. The day after the UN “confirmed” that Israel is committing genocide, Israel launched a ground invasion into Gaza City while unleashing some of the worst air strikes to date. 

Canada has the power to help bring an end to this genocide — but so far, the federal government has chosen empty words and half measures. It’s not enough.

Call your MP now and demand that Canada sanction Israel.

Introduce yourself: share your name and any other identifying information you feel comfortable with, and note that you’re a constituent. 

I am outraged and heartbroken by the news coming out of Gaza this morning. Israel has just launched a ground invasion into Gaza City, forcing thousands to flee as the Israeli Defence Minister declared: “Gaza is burning”.  As a [voter/constituent/person of conscience], I’m outraged that Canada has allowed Israel’s blatant and repeated violations of international law without serious consequences. 

Just yesterday, the UN confirmed that Israel is committing genocide. The time for warnings and empty statements is over. I am calling on the Canadian government to sanction Israeli officials, implement a two-way arms embargo, and ban trade with Israel and all companies complicit in the genocide.
