Close the Loophole! End Canada’s Arms Flow to Israel

Even after experts agree that Israel is committing genocide, Canada is still sending weapons to Israel. Some of those weapons are sent through a loophole that allows Canadian-made arms to flow via the U.S.

Last year, Parliament passed motions to stop arms transfers and call for a ceasefire. But without action to back them up, those promises are empty — and Canada is still playing an active role in the genocide.

A new bill, Bill C-233, just tabled in Parliament would close the U.S. loophole and help stop Canadian arms exports to Israel. It’s a big opportunity — but it’ll take public pressure to make it happen.
