Stop the Contract: No Canadian Weapons to ICE

A Brampton-based armoured-vehicle manufacturer, Roshel, has supplied ICE with 20 new bullet-and bomb-resistant tactical vehicles. There is new evidence that these machines have been used against protesters in Minneapolis on the same day and just blocks away from where Alex Pretti was murdered.

It is unacceptable that Canadian weapons are being used by ICE in raids that violate human rights and tear families apart just across the border. Our government has a duty to intervene.

Add your name to the petition calling on Prime Minister Mark Carney, Foreign Affairs Minister Anand and Defence Minister McGuinty to stop arms from going to ICE.

Here is the petition text:

Prime Minister Mark Carney, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and Defence Minister David McGuinty,

Stop all Canadian arms and weapons contracts with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Canadian-made tactical vehicles and other military‑grade equipment — including those being supplied by Roshel — are being used in ICE enforcement operations that harm migrants and communities. Canada must not be complicit.
