NDP Leadership Debate: For People & The Planet
For decades, Canada’s corporate elite have gotten rich at our expense. And as crisis looms for everyday people, it’s crucial we have the leadership we need for the times ahead.
The next NDP leader will have a critical voice in shaping how Canada responds to the crises at our doorstep. Whoever wins will help shape the fight for stronger public health care, affordable homes, climate action, workers’ rights, and justice for communities too often left behind.
That’s why, on Monday, March 2nd, Leadnow is gathering the candidates for the NDP leadership race together with moderator Desmond Cole to hear their plans to deliver for People & the Planet.
The debate will start at 4pm PT / 5pm MT / 6pm CT / 7pm ET / 8pm AT and run for 1.5 hours. Debate topics will explore candidates’ stances on the climate crisis, housing policy, corporate profiteering, solidarity with Palestine, global geopolitics, and migrant rights. The debate format will feature quickfire questions, a ping pong round, and more.
