Draw the Line – Email your MP

Prime Minister Carney just launched “Build Canada Homes”, a new federal agency tasked with building housing. 

The good news is that the government seems to be listening to our demand to focus on building deeply affordable, non-market homes like co-ops, public, and non-profit housing.

But does it consider everybody? There is no plan for renters or the millions of people already struggling to afford housing. 

Our MPs need to hear our reaction to this announcement. If enough people across the country speak up, and flood their Member’s inbox, it could be the pressure they need to start prioritizing real solutions for people. Send your email today.

Keep it short and concise!

Personal letters are more likely to get a response. If you can, share your own story about why the housing crisis is important to you and why you want to see the government act. Ask for a commitment or specific action and make sure they know you’re their constituent.
