I Stand with Striking Air Canada Workers!

5,832 of 6,000

This week, thousands of Air Canada flight attendants took a courageous stand — walking off the job to demand fair pay, dignity, and safe working conditions. But within just one day, the federal government tried to shut it down — using “back to work” legislation to force them to stop striking, and now the federal labour board has backed them up.

Back-to-work orders are becoming more common from federal and provincial governments. It’s an attack on workers’ rights. If the government and Air Canada’s $12M CEO can silence these workers, they can do it to anyone. Flight attendants are defying it — and they need public support now.

To: Air Canada and the Federal Government

Your actions ordering striking Air Canada flight attendants back to work sets a dangerous precedent that undermines democracy and workers’ rights across Canada. Air Canada flight attendants are fighting for fair pay, safe working conditions, and basic dignity on the job, and the public stands with them.

We, the undersigned, call on Air Canada and the federal government to immediately stop efforts to silence striking flight attendants, and to support the workers’ right to negotiate with their employer in good faith.
