Urgent: sanction Israel with an arms embargo

Hours ago, the UN’s humanitarian chief warned that as many as 14,000 Palestinian babies could die in the next 48 hours if aid doesn’t reach them in time, as Israel continues an 11-week blockade of food and aid to the Gaza Strip.

On May 19th, 2025, Canada joined France and the U.K. in a landmark statement threatening “concrete action”, including possible sanctions against Israel’s blockade of aid and expansion of military operations – the strongest criticism we’ve seen from our government so far and an indication that international pressure is shifting quickly.

But we need concrete action now, as millions of Palestinians face a high risk of starvation. Send a message to your MP, Prime Minister Carney and Foreign Minister Anita Anand demanding a full two-way arms embargo against Israel.
