Volunteer Agreement – Hub Leaders
As our commitment to you, we will:

Provide meaningful opportunities to take action for economic and climate justice

Provide necessary support to fulfill your role effectively, including training, goal-setting and coaching.

Provide you with a support person, in the form of a staff or volunteer leader

Support from a Leadnow staff to your Hub

Actively seek, listen to and respond to your feedback

Provide you with a written evaluation or reference if appropriate
As your commitment to Leadnow, you will:

Commit 12 hours or more per month to fulfill your responsibilities as outlined in your role description, for an initial commitment of two Action Cycles (4-5 months)

Contribute to strategies and tactics on all campaign issues equally. We all come to this work with different issues that we care the most about. Because Leadnow is a multi-issue community fighting interconnected problems, all our volunteers commit to participating equally on all of our campaigns.

Follow the Leadnow Code of Conduct

Give honest feedback to assist Leadnow in continually improving

Ask for help and support when you need it

Only meet with government representatives, with the media, or other organizations as a Leadnow representative as part of designated tactics, or with written authorization from a Leadnow staff

Only take positions in public or on social media on behalf of Leadnow as part of designated tactics, or with written authorization from a Leadnow staff

If you need to leave your role, you will:

Notify a Leadnow staff member in writing

Delete all Leadnow passwords and cookies from your computer

Make sure a Leadnow staff member is the owner of any Google documents you have created
Unless specifically agreed in advance in writing, Leadnow will not offer you:

Any pay for your services or time.

Any expense coverage unless previously agreed in writing with a staff member.

Any insurance coverage, WCB, EI, CPP or liability coverage.

Any loss coverage for equipment you use while you are doing Leadnow work.
I understand that the documents, tools or any other work produced for Leadnow remains the property of Leadnow.
