Despite promising to protect old-growth, BC Premier, John Horgan, just announced a woefully inadequate plan to yet again consult on precious old-growth trees, rather than actually taking action.^{1 2}

Horgan’s not convinced the public is onto him, but since the announcement, he’s facing backlash in the media.³ We need to ramp up our pressure now and call him out publicly with an all-out ad campaign that lays the destruction of our precious forests at his feet, to force Horgan to reckon with all of us who are witnessing his inaction, and finally deliver on his promise to protect-old growth.

If we raise $24,135 by Tuesday June 8th, we could run high-impact ads on social media, on billboards where they’ll be seen by Horgan, his staffers, and key MLAs — we could even get ads in prominent newspapers read by people across BC. The more we raise, the more we can spread the word!
