The Ford government is flooding for-profit healthcare clinics with public money – and has now doubled the number of cataract surgeries happening at private clinics.

At private clinics, patients are more likely to be “upsold” additional out-of-pocket fees – making it less accessible for people who can’t pay.

Ford is undermining the very principle of our public system – that no matter what you look like or how much money you have in the bank – you deserve access to healthcare.
