Help drown out the pharma lobby to support universal pharmacare

This is big. The government’s advisory council on pharmacare just made their long-awaited recommendation: Canada needs a universal, single-payer prescription drug program.

Now, the Liberals are deciding whether or not to adopt the recommendation.

A single-payer system would mean medication will be available based on need -- not on the ability to pay. It means families won’t have to keep making impossible decisions between putting food on the table or paying for essential medication.

But pharmaceutical heavyweights like Pzifer are desperate to block single-payer pharmacare. And they’re gearing up to launch an aggressive lobbying effort with their unlimited budget -- to convince the Health Minister to keep a broken system that protects profits instead of people.

Will you send a message to the Health Minister to drown out the corporate lobby -- asking her to follow the recommendations and implement a single-payer “medication for all” system?
