Liberals, NDP and Greens: Cooperate to make progress on climate and inequality

The election is too close to call. Right now, neither the Liberals nor the Conservatives have a majority — which means they might have to rely on the support of other parties to maintain government.1

Left unchecked, O’Toole’s Conservatives could grab power and drag us backwards. But if the current projections hold, the Liberals, NDP, and Greens combined could have enough seats to form a stable government. They could work together to deliver bold solutions to tackle the climate crisis and inequality, like a just transition away from fossil fuels and a basic income.

A cooperative government could stop the Conservatives from seizing power — but only if the Liberals, NDP and Greens have the courage to work together. Sign the petition calling on the Liberals, NDP and the Greens to cooperate — to make progress on climate and inequality and prevent a Conservative backslide.

To Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, and Green leader Annamie Paul:

A majority of Canadians voted for bold action on climate and inequality. We’re calling on you to work across party lines to cooperate and ensure a climate-safe and just future for all.
